(The Doctrine of Imminence): does this doctrine (that Christ can come back at any time for the Rapture of the Church) really exist concerning the SecondComing of Christ the Messiah?
Do certain prophetic events have to occur before Christ can return to establish His Millennial Kingdom? Or is the Rapture of the Church the event that begins the countdown? The 2nd Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is stated to be for the salvation of the nation of Israel and to “anoint the most Holy” (Daniel 9:24). With the prophesied rebirth of the nation of Israel occurring in a day in the spring of 1948, could Christ have returned prior to the establishment of the newborn nation of Israel? This “Doctrine of Imminence” is examined in the light of the scriptures.
