Chapter 8
(Joseph's Years of Plenty and Famine): the dreams of Pharaoh and the interpretation given by Joseph are discussed.
The 7 years of plenty followed by the 7 years of famine (dream given twice/”doubled” unto Pharaoh in the dreams) is shown to be to Egypt (a type of the “world”) and also shown as the two sets of “seven other years” in the Genesis account of the time of Jacob’s trouble with Laban. See how these feast and famine years are contained within the time of Jacob’s trouble and the purpose for them. The “dot-com” boom, fall, Y2K, and the famine of hearing the prophetic word of God is discussed as they relate to the “time of Jacob’s trouble”, which began on Rosh Hashanah 1993 and will end just prior to Rosh Hashanah 2014 when the 2nd Advent occurs!
