The Purim Connection to Nissan & the "Rapture"?
With the passing of Katan Purim (February 18, 2011) and what was hoped as being the time of Christ's coming for the resurrection / rapture, I really did not want nor care on speculating as to any other time for this. I was simply resting in knowing that the time is short. But in trying to help others who still did and their looking to or into the account of Purim itself, I got involved in going more in depth into the account of the book of Esther.
The book of Esther seems to me to be one huge prophetic allegory or analogy. Some of which is very specific and others are more general in their principals of understanding to future fulfillment. But before I get to what I believe "may" be a connection to Katan Purim in Adar 1 and that of Purim of Adar 2! And both of these to that of Nissan 13 through the 16th! I will point out some of the more general prophetic analogies I see in this book or account.
First of all I see that there are specific players or "types" in the account. Of which some of them have dual fulfillment in their types. Meaning that they can be seen as fulfilling one or more persons or personalities prophetically. In general I see 1 = the King as God, the father & that of Christ, 2 = Mordecai, the Jew as Jesus Christ; 3 = Haman as (more than one role) Satan, Judas, the Antichrist; 4 = Esther herself as God's people, His wife, bride, the "church"/ the Israel of God, the "saved" at various and differing times; and 5 = the people in general, the Jews and Gentiles.
To a "Christian" point of view, the book of Esther is a classic struggle or conflict between Jesus and Satan. And as Jews themselves point out, the word "God" or the name of God is not found in the entire book of Esther! Which is why I also said that this is like one big prophetic analogy, or almost like one big parable with many truths within it.
Some of the more specific references of (I believe) prophetic "time" are given. For instance, the month of Adar, the month of Sivan - the 3rd month, and the month of Nissan. Now it is interesting to note again that as the Jews state, the word or God's name is not directly mentioned. It is as if He were working behind the scenes, or "as it were in secret" (see: NEW: Timeline for 70th Week, Rapture & 2nd Coming, Discovered in Single Event / Type in Scripture )!
It is more amazing that this account of Purim has an approximate if not precise reference of time of one year. From Adar 13, 30 days before Nissan 13 to the fulfillment of the casting of lots on the following Adar 13th. Is this the reference to the 1 year or the "midst of the week" in which Christ shows up "as it were in secret?
Now the majority of what happens in regard to the casting of these lots (BTW- all of the aspects of Katan Purim - to which the 1335 days counted to are still applicable to Purim itself, since they are still the celebration of the same event.) in the book of Esther happens or starts on the 13th of Nissan. This is the day before the Passover, and the queen goes into the King on the 15th- the very day of the FEAST of Unleavened bread! And yet NO MENTION of these feasts are given. Why? I believe that it is because the feasts of the Lord will have already been fulfilled. But we can see the general results in this account.
One of the more specific is that the "casting of lots" happened on the 13th of Nissan, this is the plotting of the betrayal and death of Haman (Satan) of Mordecai (Jesus)! And this is the same day before Passover that Judas plotted (he cast his lot) to betray Jesus to the assignment of His death by the High priests!
Another aspect of generality, is that Mordecai was the faithful servant of the King/ God who did not receive His honor or glory for His service to His King. (Est.2:21-23) But later did receive that glory and honor as Haman (Satan) had to give it to him directly (Est. 6:1-11)! (Col. 2:15 Andhaving spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.)
Now when we take a look at the Law of God which is a law unto death which is irrevocable. Est. 3:13-14. Now since the letters of the law of the King cannot be annulled or changed, an NEW law or covenant had to be written TO PROVIDE a means of escaping this certain death. And it was by Mordecai (Jesus) the Jew by which the new law/ covenant was made. And it is said of Mordecai (of course this would be at the time of His resurrection);
Est. 8:15 And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour. And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.
Now again, in the general to the people themselves, we see that because of the new law/ covenant of Mordecai's (Jesus') that many of the people (not all) became Jews or believers in Jesus Christ! Why? Not only because of the fear- in this case respect for their, the Jew's/ believers faith in the King/ God, but because of His anointed, Mordecai/ Christ and what He had done.
Est. 9:3 And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.
Now the above text does indeed refer or apply to that time of "Great tribulation" which is soon coming and I'm not taking this that far. The point is that because of the work/ new law/ covenant (which never did away with the old) the provision for salvation and life was made available to all! And many Gentiles became believers/ Jews in Christ Jesus!
Now it is time to make mention of one more generality. And that is of Esther herself! And how she resembles or applies to the "believers" in God and Christ. And then I will get to the specifics of time and the connection of the two Purim's!
How did Esther come to be Queen and what are her characteristics? One of the MAIN characteristics is that even though Esther is a Babylonian (Gentile) taken name, and she is given the outward appearance of a Gentile, she is still a Jew on the inside! (in her heart/ circumcision:
Rom 2:27 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Now just as Mordecai represents/ Christ and God, Esther is ADOPTED of Him!
Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Fatherof our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
We the "church" have received GRACE & MERCY from God the Father (the King) as Esther also did!
Est. 2:17 And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins;
Est. 5:And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. (This is the offer of MERCY- because she was deserving of death) So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre. (This is her acceptance of that mercy. Just because God's grace and mercy in the free gift of His Son's death on the cross is extended/ offered, you must acknowledge to God the ACCEPTANCE of it!)
And of course the royal, kingly position the "church" has in being such. Just as Esther has her royal garments and her crown. No cross references for this should be needed.
And last for Esther as a type of the believers/ the church:
The "believers/ church in Jesus Christ are said to be "joint heirs" of the Kingdom in Christ Jesus! Do we see this in the account of Esther/ the church and the King/ God/ Christ? Now this is "ON the 3rd day" that Esther went to the King/ Christ!
Esther 5:1 Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne
3 Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.
You can't get much more of a "JOINT" ownership/ ruler ship than the offering to 1/2 of the kingdom, now can you???
Last is that of the King/ God/Christ replacing His wife (national Israel) who was disobedient with a new wife (from the Gentiles, a different fold / outward appearance), the "church"!
There are many more general prophetic references in the book of Esther, but I don't have the time to go over any more. It is time to get specific to that of Purim.
Now let me remind you that the celebration of Purim and Katan Purim is that of the day they RESTED from the bloodshed caused by the casting of lots for that appointed day.
Now Esther was by the grace of the King made His wife in the 7th year of His reign.
Est. 2:16 So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
Now nothing is said of Esther for the next 5 years until we come to the day of the casting of the lots by Haman.
As I said before, the casting of the lot(s) by Haman happened on the 13th of Nissan. And everything concerning it up to Esther calling for a 3 day fast all happened on that day. So then, just what happened? # 1- Haman thought it foolish to want to kill Mordecai alone. So he sought to kill all the Jews. # 2: How did he seek to kill all the Jews?
Est. 3:7 In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.
This casting of lots did not happen as one time each day for 11 months. No, it was like "rolling a dice- die" continuously until the "favored" result appeared. Now you know this is the underlying work of God. It is practically impossible to roll a die for approx. 330 times and keep coming up with the same results. Example, you have a die. It is a cube, and there are 6 sides to it. 3 would be "yes" or even #'s and 3 would be "no"- odd numbers. This casting or rolling of the dice can be done in an hour or less.
Since Haman got his answer and date he thinks his "gods" gave him, he # 3- goes straight to the King, and deceitfully gets the permission and the King's ring to kill the Jews and make the date a LAW! Est.3:8-11
# 4Now we learn of the date of the day these lots were cast. As Haman has to get the Law written and use the King's ring for the documents before being found out and stopped.
Est. 3:12 Then were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring. And the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
Now this is a big rushing to put a law into effect. Because once the law was signed by the King and His ring, even the King could not reverse it or cancel it. Now what comes next is important given that the decree had to go out to all the provinces of the kingdom which stretched from India to Ethiopia. BUT where would the decrees be seen IMMEDIATELY? That is right! In Sushan where the law was drafted in the first place. And with the decree posted in the capitol city of the King, the people were perplexed. Yeah, it is like...what is this?? What is the King doing and why? But the King and Haman had time to sit down and have a social drink after the decree was posted. Plenty early in the day (13th of Nissan) still!
The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.
# 5 Now Mordecai, being in Sushan, got the decree as it was posted. He understood what was happening and why. Basically, His people (Christians/ Jews) were to be suffering death and extermination because of Him (Jesus), in that He would not bow to Haman (Satan or even to his soon coming Antichrist)!
Est. 4:1 When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry; And came even before the king’s gate: for none might enter into the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth.
# 6 Now comes in Esther to get involved. And it was her maids who told her of Mordecai's being in sackcloth, etc. (verse 4)! And we now see the "type" of the Holy Spirit as the go between or mediator for the Church to that of Mordecai (Jesus)! And it is the Queen who is asking what it is and why it is so. And She is fully informed of the decree of death, the casting of the lots and why it was all because of Haman's hatred for Mordecai!
Est. 4: 5 Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king’s chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why it was. So Hatach went forth to Mordecai unto the street of the city, which was before the king’s gate.
And Mordecai told him of all that had happened unto him, and of the sum of the money that Haman had promised to pay to the king’s treasuries for the Jews, to destroy them.
Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to show it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her,
But along with this evidence, Mordecai sends word of instruction to Esther.
4: 8b and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.
And Hatach came and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
Here Mordecai (Jesus) is telling Esther/ Church/ Jews that she should go to the King, to His Throne in the inner court boldly asking/ praying for deliverance for her people. But like all of us fear sets in and tries to make an excuse from the Law.
10 Again Esther spake unto Hatach, and gave him commandment unto Mordecai;
All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live:
Now here is an important part for the Church/ Esther. It is the issue of being called and chosen by the King. We as the "church" are chosen by Him to the glory of His GRACE! By which we obtain mercy.

Now here is where the Purim connection to Nissan and the time of the Passover and that of Purim to that of Purim Katan come in.
Est. 4:11b " but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days."
Now what is happening here is still Nissan the 13th! And this is the only mention of Esther coming before the King in the last 5 years! And that is of just 30 days ago. And that day would be Adar 13th!!! And NO DETAILS of that coming before the King. Why?
I believe it is because of the casting of the lots are to be fulfilled on the future Adar 13th, that the reference to the PRECEEDING Adar 13th, is the recognition that there will be a future observance of the 13th of Adar in connection to Purim which will precede the original one for the SAME REASON!! In other words there will be two observances of Adar 13th for Purim within the same years time.
Here is the Purim connection to Nissan! This can only happen on the Jewish leap year in which we see an Adar 1 and an Adar 2, both celebrating Purim on the same day of the month 30 days apart and also 30 days to the 13th of Nissan! And there just may also be separate prophetic fulfillment for the both of them!
What is interesting in Mordecai's response to Esther of this impending day of intense persecution (coming in the time of "great tribulation") is in the following:
4:13 "Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place;"
In my opinion, Mordecai ( Jesus is forcefully- commanded) is telling/ answering Esther/ those "of the church", that do not think you are "safe" from the judgment of God, just because you belong to the "church"/ house of the king. Any more than any other of God's people/ the Jews. Now the point of Esther going in to the King was to plead deliverance for HERSELF and her people by declaring to the King who she actually was! That beneath the exterior of a Gentile/ she was actually a Jew. Was she to be ashamed of who she really was, and to try and protect herself just because she thought she was saved by being part of the king's house!
What did Jesus say about this situation.
Matt. 10:33 32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Acts 16: 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thyhouse. 32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
Matt. 24: 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Now Mordecai/ Jesus continues exactly in this manner of being ready/ saved so that the thief does not break up or destroy the person or his house. And Mordecai continues to say, that she doesn't know if she was put into the kingdom position to then declare her true identity/ faith as a Jew for this precise time. But she know what it is that is RIGHT to do! Even to the losing of her life for it!
Esther 4:14 but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Now remember what is happening here in this account and time (Nissan) is to what the future fulfillment of its understanding 11 months later (and I believe in our time as well) is for.
Esther then gives Mordecai this answer. (now we are going to get to the POSSIBLE fulfillment of Purim in Adar 2 and being tied to the same reasons for Adar 1! See: The Possible Start to the Counting of the 1335 Days Have Begun and Why!
Now it is Nissan 13th and Esther tells Mordecai to tell ONLY the people of Sushan to fast for 3 days and THEN she/ the "church" will go to the King! Now shortly I will show that there is a big distinction in the Observance of Purim. And the city/ Sushan, of the King, plays a big part of this! Of which this city is the "HOME" of not only Esther but of Mordecai as well! Ok, the fast is for 3 days, and it starts on the day of the casting of the Lots- the 13th. Just as the observance of the fast of Esther is on Adar 13th! Then the fast will last to the 15th of Nissan and observed to the 15th of Adar! However, these of Adar 1 & 2 are still applications to their origination in Nissan on the 13th!
Remember that the Feast of Purim on the 14th of Adar, is the observance of the Jews DAY OF DELIVERANCE from the "Tribulation/ persecution/ WAR" brought on by Haman/ Satan! And of course, the same 30 day connection from Adar 1 to Adar 2 still applies and is seen as such by a Jewish calendar.
Now I believe it is POSSIBLE, and I mean possible only, since we won't know until it is either fulfilled in this manner and time or it is not. And that is to the following:
The possibility that with the 13th of Adar is the day the war happened, it is possible that is when the "War in Heaven" breaks out! Then the "resurrection of the dead in Christ" and their receiving their glorified bodies with the 1st trump and their REST! Which is also tied to the blessing of Daniel to come to the 1335 days by the same day of the SAME month but only able to happen in a Jewish leap year.
Yes, the fulfillment of the 1335 days is the blessing for ALLto witness the fulfilling of Jesus' 2nd coming to that of the last Feast of the Lord at Tabernacles. Remember that all the attributes given to Katan Purim for Adar 1 are still valid for Adar 2 now! See: The Possible Start to the Counting of the 1335 Days Have Begun and Why!
Yes, I think it is possible that ALL of the dead in Christ will be raised on this day with the 1st trump, as the Feast of Purim is and was for ALL of the Kingdom of the King! The capitol city and all the 127 provinces!
However, there is a big difference to the day the Queen went to the King, to the inner court to the throne!
Esther 5:1 Now it came to pass onthe third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house.
Now what is shown here? Esther/ the Church, ON THE 3rd Day, put on her royal apparel/ garments (notice it does NOT say her crown!! That is to be given at the judgment seat of Christ very soon after) and STOOD up to the King. Just as we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ as the King/ Christ sat upon His throne.
This is happening on the 15th of Nissan to future fulfillment to the 15th of Adar (in which this fulfilled application will then be realized on the 16th of Nissan)! Now comes the explanation for this as possibly being the time for the "rapture"! That of those who are alive and remaining!
Esther 9:1 Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution,
The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.
And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now what is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: or what is thy request further? and it shall be done.
Now this is happening on the 13th! Why would Esther want anything more when Her city and home of Sushan was included in the destruction and war? Is it possible that Esther/ the church wants her HOME fully rid of her enemies and adversaries? That it is to be for the city of the King/ the capitol ONLY that she want this war extended one day for THOSE WHO ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN and are citizens of the walled city of Sushan!
9:13 Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.
Yes, Esther wants the war extended for one day (the 14th) to fully cleanse the Home of both Her and Mordecai! Now this walled city of Sushan, in my opinion is representing the Eternal City of Jerusalem in heaven! Which is why the Queen went to the King/ the rapture on the 15th of Nissan, looking forward to this time of Adar or Adar 2! And it is referred to as "Purim Sushan", observed and celebrated as the day they RESTED IN THE CITY OF SUSHAN ONLY on the 15th of Adar or Adar2!
Esther 9: But the Jews that were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day thereof, and on the fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth day of the same they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.
Therefore the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another.
NOTICE that the Jews of Shushan "ASSEMBLED together" for the 2 days of Adar 13 & 14th, and RESTED on the 15th, the 3rd day! This assembling is what the trump of God is for. And then the LAST trump is for the journeying of the camp! And it is this 3rd day, the 15th that Esther/ the Church/ believers went to the King and His throne upon the instigation or compelling of Mordecai/ Christ! For these "trumps/ trumpets of God, see:
What May Happen Shortly Before the Rapture
And the Feast days of rest from their tribulation/ war for those who were alive and remaining IN THE WALLED CITY OF THE KING/ ESTHER AND MORDECAI! The New Jerusalem! Only this city is ETERNAL!! Not even the Jerusalem in Israel today is eternal in its existence! Now is the New Jerusalem a "walled City"?? Of course it is!!
Rev. 21: 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
It is very appropriate that this account take place outside of Israel and Jerusalem. Why? Because even the Jews "father Abraham" was looking for this eternal/ heavenly city and a better country! Not the earthly country of promise God had made to his physical seed.
Heb. 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
13: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off,and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

When is Purim Observed?
Purim is different from all other Jewish holidays in at least one very interesting aspect. Purim is observed in some places exclusively on the 14th of Adar and in others, exclusively on the 15th (Shushan Purim).
The observance of Purim was thus originally ordained by the Sages: "To observe these days of Purim in their times. 'In their times:' In the specific time of each."
The reason for the different dates designated for the observance of Purim is that the Jews of Shushanoriginally observed the festival on a different day than the Jews who lived elsewhere. Whereas Jews in Shushan waged war on both the 13th and the 14th of the month, and observed the 15th as a day of festivity and rejoicing, in all other provinces the Jews waged war on the 13th and observed only the 14thas a day of festivity and rejoicing.
Therefore our Sages chose to distinguish between Shushan and all other places in accordance with the original event.
Wishing however, to accord honor to the Land of Israel which then was desolate, they determined as follows: The capital city of Shushan, in which the miracle occurred enjoys special preeminence and the festival is to be observed there on the 15th. This is despite the fact that in the days of Yehoshua, under whose leadership the Jewish People first entered and conquered the Land of Israel, Shushan was not yet surrounded by a wall, and hence enjoyed only minor status as a city.
All other cities which were already settled and were surrounded by wallsin the days of Yehoshua, are to be accorded the preeminence of Shushan- although they might presently lack surrounding walls and might be in a state of ruin - and they are to observe Purim the 15th. Cities which were not surrounded by walls in the days of Yehoshua though they may have surrounding walls presently - are not to be accorded the status of Shushan, and they are to observe the festival on the 14th.
What then is the criterion for judging the status of a city?
The condition of the city during the days of Yehoshua. That is to say, walled cities either found by Yehoshua in the Land of Israel, or built with walls in his time, are assured of eternal existence.Their present destruction is viewed as passing. Cities outside the Land of Israel - though they later acquired the status of walled cities - are not regarded as assured of permanent existence.
Therefore the Purim which is observed on the 14th is called 'Purim-of-the-open-cities;' (Purim De'Prazot) and the Purim observed on the 15th is named the 'Purim-of-the-walled-cities'(Purim De'Mukafot).
In our times, the only city besides Shushan in which Purim is observed the 15th of Adar is Jerusalem, "Yerushalayim."
In a number of other places, the Megillah is also read the 15th - but only because of doubt. In these communities, the essential observance of Purim is fixed for the 14th, and though the Reading of the Megillah is repeated in them the 15th as well, the required brachah which precedes the Megilah-Reading, is not recited.
PURIM KATAN - Little Purim
On a leap year when, according to the Hebrew calendar there are two months of Adar, I and II, Purim is observed for two days in Adar II, which is followed by Nissan. However,the 14th and 15th of Adar A on a leap year are traditionally called "Little Purim". On these days also one is supposed to celebrate,is forbidden to mourn or fast and omits certain prayers.
Ok, the "sages" at least recognize that the implication of the "walled cities" were to be assured ETERNAL EXISTANCE! But they changed the plain meaning of the text to suit their needs to include Jerusalem in the Land of Israel. Now it does seem plain that the only city at that time to be considered "walled" was that of the capitol- Sushan!
In a very brief recap of what has transpired with Esther so far and the Possible prophetic implications to the fulfillment of BOTH Purim of Adar1 & 2 in their understanding as applicable to that of Nissan13-16th!
From Katan Purim, was the possible start of the counting of the 1335 days to the 8th day of Tabernacles in 2014! This is tied to the same day in blessing to the "dead in Christ of the same month 30 days later in Adar 2! The day before on Adar 2 the 13th begins the War in Heaven, and the first trump blown for the resurrection and the ASSEMBLING of the Jews for 2 days! Adar 14 is when those who have been resurrected enjoy their first DAY of REST in the Lord Jesus Christ in their new bodies! While they do on this day (the 14th) the war in Heaven continues to ensure ALL the enemies and adversaries (the Accuser of the brethren/ Satan & his angels) of Christ and His church are purged from the home/ walled city of God! On the 3rd day, the 15th the last trump is blown, we are changed and the moving out of the assembly/ camp takes place to the King/ God and His throne in heaven! Now this is not all that can be seen regarding these 3 days of the casting of lots/ Purim. But this is long enough and I will be very brief from now on.
We are still on the 3rd day! IF the going to the king by Esther on this day is prophetic of the process of the 3 day fulfillment of the "resurrection/ rapture", then what else happens on this day?
We see that BECAUSE OF Esther (her/ the church being "raptured"?) there is a "banquet of wine" given by Esther! This is similar to the pouring out of the wine of God's wrath toward the end of the great tribulation! The "wine" represents BLOOD!
Esther 5:4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
And the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
But there is to be another day of this small blood bath!
Verse 8 My petition and my request is;
If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
But that is not all that happens on the 3rd day or the time of the "rapture" which starts this blood bath (small one- only 3 in attendance)! What else happens is that Haman/ now the A.C. sets up the instrument of death for Mordecai/ Jesus and his followers!
Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
Is this instrument of death of which Haman caused to be made, be that of the A.C. taking over the internet and communications, BECAUSE OF the blood bath/ national emergency caused by the "rapture"/ Esther going to the king that day? Now this instrument of death, will not be the "Abomination that maketh desolate" until there is an object of worship given to it! Then it will become an "Image" that will BOTH speak AND CAUSE as many who will not worship the beast to be put to death!!
Now this banquet of wine happens again for another day! This is the application to the fulfilling time when Esther asks for the extra days warring at Adar 13 & 14!
So then, it is then the day after the "rapture"! What else can possibly happen?
Est. 7:7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was.
Remember that this is right after the "rapture", the next day! And as a result of the "rapture" there will be believers converted after the rapture who were still in the "corporate churches" in the world! And we are seeing the RESULT of the foolish virgins who did not heed the Lord's word's to repent of their deeds and turn to Him before the door was shut!
Rev. 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23And I will kill her children with death;
Yes, we see those after the "rapture" who are in bed with Haman/ the A.C. into what is the start of the Great tribulation! Now there is one last thing I will take notice of. And that is of Haman/ A.C. being killed. In the story account Haman is killed, but it is possible that the A.C. is receiving his deadly wound "AS IF UNTO DEATH"! And notice it is the next day after the "rapture" and still part of the 2 day banquet of wine/ blood bath caused by Esther.
Esther 7:8b Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.
And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified.
Now, could these things possibly be fulfilled in this manner and time? And just how long the A.C. will lie as dead until Satan heals him? I do not know. And I do not see any continuation in the account of Esther to indicate such. But if this does come to pass like this and you are here to witness this...YOU WILL KNOW!!!
And What May Be Further Possible From Purim-- Adar To Passover-- Nissan As Esther Tied The Two Together By Her 30 Days! All That Was Understood Of Purim And Katan In Adar Are Applicable To That of Nissan From Where They Originated.
Here are my reasons for these two distinct times found in the book of Esther as being understood as one.
Just as Jesus said, He has two folds and He is the Shepherd of both and they will be as one flock or fold. You see the Jews in that of the Feast of Purim established in the month of Adar. Whereas to a "gentile" understanding in Nissan, there is no Feast established at that time. In fact the time of the Passover is not even mentioned. Even though it is clearly the time for it.
Things of prophetic fulfillment that are found in Adar- Purim are not found in the Nissan account and vice versa. For instance, in the Purim account we see the queen's request for the extension of the war or the war itself. And in the account of Nissan, we see Haman/ Satan still before the King/ God, and Esther- the church until his being taken out and killed. Of course in the Adar- Purim Account, This has already happened and not overtly evident.
But what is similar and which ties these months together with their understanding is the obvious, casting of the lots on the 13th of Nissan for the fulfillment to the 13th of Adar. And that of Esther referring to this same date from the 30 days she was before the King prior Nissan 13. Now in the following two charts, one from the understanding concerning Adar and Purim, simply lay that one over the one for Nissan and the "time of" Passover. You will then get a more full and complete understanding from the scriptures as to what will be (possibly) coming soon.
